Lab Results – Blue Light
Lab-tested protection you can trust
At Nattelyst we believe in transparency, not empty promises.
That’s why every pair of our blue-light glasses is tested in independent labs against the international standards used in Europe, Australia/New Zealand and the USA.
Below you’ll find the documented test results for two of our models:
one with 98% protection, and one with 30% protection — so you can choose the right level for your needs.
98% protective glasses
Maximum protection for evening use, deep focus work and long screen sessions.
Summary of results
This model is built for anyone who needs maximum protection from screen light and UV — perfect for evening work, sleep issues, or long days in front of digital devices. It’s tested with a TM-3 measurement device and graded against three international standards: EN/ISO 12312-1:2015 (EU), AS/NZS 1067:2016 (AU/NZ) and ANSI Z80.3-2015 (USA).
This table shows how effectively our glasses block three types of harmful light: UVB, UVA and blue light. The results come from independent lab tests and show that the glasses block almost all UVB and UVA — and a full 98.02% of blue light in the most critical 380–500 nm range. They exceed every requirement in the international standards by a wide margin. That means your eyes are documented as protected against the kinds of light that cause fatigue, sleep disruption and long-term vision damage.
Effectiveness at blocking blue light
The graph compares Nattelyst’s 98% glasses with typical untested blue-light glasses and ordinary clear lenses. Plenty of brands promise high blocking without any documentation — the graph shows the difference clearly when you actually measure it. Our glasses block almost all blue light, while untested products only stop a fraction — and ordinary lenses next to nothing. If you want to avoid sleep disruption, headaches or eye fatigue, lab-tested glasses like these are the safe choice.
30% protective glasses
Light protection for daytime use, natural lens color, and casual use.
Summary of laboratory tests
This table shows the results for our lighter, more everyday-friendly blue-light glasses. As you can see, they block 100% of both UVB and UVA radiation — meaning you’re still fully protected against the harmful UV rays that can damage your eyes over time.
When it comes to blue light (380–500 nm), this model blocks 30.73%, which makes it ideal for daytime hours, office use, and situations where you want a more natural, clear look. The results were measured in an independent lab and clearly show that even a more discreet lens can still deliver noticeable protection from digital strain and fatigue.

30% Glasses
Lets most blue light through. Perfect for daytime use, when you want to reduce eye strain without changing how colours look.
98% Glasses
Blocks almost all blue light in the 380–500 nm range. The slightly orange tint in the lens is what makes such high blocking possible — making them ideal for evening hours when you're winding down and preparing for sleep.
